Javaherdeh Tourists Center

Javaherdeh is a small village in north of Iran. Located in the mountains overlooking the Caspian Sea, it’s famous for its cool weather during summer and attracts a large number of tourists during warm seasons. The objective of this course was to design a Tourists Center in the west end of the village, in a large steep site inside a valley, beside a lake. The site has a great view, looking down at the village. A small stream of water passes through the site until it reaches the lake. This stream was directed in my design in order to create an appropriate atmosphere in all parts of the complex. The Tourists’ Center was supposed to create a relax environment for tourists to stay during the night and walk, dine and shop during the day. The complex was expected to be in harmony with the surrounding natural environment and the fabric of the village.
